Malaika Dorsey serves as a Regional Manager with Hayes Gibson Property Services and has more than 20 years of multifamily housing experience with a career that spans affordable, conventional, senior, and mixed-subsidy housing, with specialized expertise in LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and Rural Development programs across multiple states.

Malaika holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and has extensive experience leading multi-site operations, improving occupancy and revenue performance, overseeing compliance, managing budgets and financial reporting, stabilizing properties, leading lease-ups, developing staff, and supporting rehabilitation initiatives. Having begun her career in leasing and advanced through progressive leadership roles, she brings a practical understanding of property operations at every level.

She holds the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation, along with multiple housing compliance certifications through HUD, Rural Development, and other industry organizations. Malaika is recognized for building successful teams, strengthening underperforming properties, and maintaining high operational standards.

Outside of work, Malaika enjoys shopping and traveling.
