Clara Hulit serves as a Regional Manager with Hayes Gibson Property Services, overseeing a diverse portfolio of communities in Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia. She has more than 20 years of property management experience across affordable housing, conventional housing, and a variety of residential markets.

Throughout her career, Clara has built a strong record of improving rental income, occupancy, resident retention, vendor relationships, and marketing performance. Her expertise also includes budget management, preventive maintenance planning, expense control, compliance, and multi-site operations.

Before joining HGPS, Clara worked with Verdugo Property Management, where she advanced from leasing management into broader operational and leadership responsibilities spanning human resources and construction project management. She later became one of the organization's first area managers, overseeing more than 900 units across 11 properties. Her transition into affordable multifamily housing also included helping establish an in-house compliance team.

Clara is passionate about affordable housing and the opportunity to create quality communities for residents. She is completing a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in Human Resources and Accounting at American Military University. In addition to property management, Clara is a part-time fire fighter, continuing her passion for helping others. Outside of work, Clara enjoys writing suspense thrillers, reading DC and Marvel comics, and spending time with family which includes her 8 grandchildren.
